I created this piece as a visual response to Kae Tempest’s Picture a Vacuum. I translated the poem’s tension and internal circuitry into generative code, using the structure of a circuit board as both metaphor and canvas. The fragmented text, glitches and negative space echo the poem’s sense of pressure building in confined systems. It became a way to explore how thought, emotion and technology can mirror each other when everything feels overclocked.
